I planted microgreen seeds last week, so I wanted to just show you the progression of what has happened.
I’m pretty happy with my first attempt at the indoor garden–and I know I planted too many seeds in each crop, but I was in a rush when I planted and didn’t have enough containers and dirt for the number of seeds I soaked. Later tonight I’m going to harvest my clover (I could figure out what that one was—no clue on the others, but I can probably look it up).
I’ll be planting more–I can’t think of a reason not to, and I just read something about how dirt has something in it that when it gets on your skin, it makes your brain release some chemical that makes you happy. Seriously? Playing in the dirt? Ok, well I’m always in for happiness shortcuts, and I have a good vacuum that will help me suck up all the stray dirt that is scattered around during the process.
On a side note, Joe and I watched Food, Inc. over the weekend. I highly recommend it. Neither of us are eating meat today.
