Another Lucky Weekend!

Joe and I spent the weekend in NYC. Our plan was to head out of Rochester on Friday after work and drive to the city, stay at Hotel Indigo, catch a show, and patronize One Lucky Duck and Pure Food and Wine (in possibly an unnatural frequency…but hey, we can only get to NYC just so often!).

I didn’t take pics of all of our food this time. Inside Pure Food and Wine, it just didn’t feel right to whip out my camera (last time we were outside), and the pics just don’t do the food justice at One Lucky Duck. I was also very excited to see Sarma and Leon (her dog) last night outside One Lucky Duck. Joe said hi to her (and to Leon), and she was friendly and said hi back. But I left her alone, which follows perfectly with my personality trait of not wanting to bother anyone (damnit!). I did tweet about it, and Sarma responded, so maybe if I see her next time I’ll have the guts to ask for a picture.

I won’t bother telling you who ate what, or what we took home with us…it was all just really great and you should check them out at least online if you can’t make it there in person. There was one other smoothie that Joe got, but I can’t remember which one it was. Is that list excessive for a 48-hour time period? Wait, don’t answer that!
